This Modern Mammoth test piece was a bold architectural vision, combining structural steel and concrete and expressing the two elements through to the finish. As indicative with modern design, visual simplicity and clean lines typically are achieved by painstaking coordination and thoughtfulness. The Izmirian project exudes this process throughout the entire structure. This highly efficient residence also utilizes a geothermal ground loop system to greatly supplement the interior heating, exterior snow melt and domestic water use.
